Rest Assured you will be receiving a Top Quality Lab from Springwood
We can’t thank you enough! It’s easy to see how good this pup’s going to be already. Top notch bloodlines from a top notch breeder!
Thanks so much for bringing the cutest little bundle of joy into our lives! So glad to have found you and thanks for making the process so transparent and easy for us, and finding us the perfect puppy for our home. She’s a diva!
In April of 2021 my family was informed by our breeder (Twenty Valley Golden Doodles) that we were going to have first choice of Hazel’s next litter. We were so thrilled as this was our very first dog! Hazel had a healthy pregnancy, but close to the time of birth we received a bit of a surprise! Hazel was going to be giving birth to just 1 pup, a singleton! Not knowing too much about dogs, I really did not realize that this was much of an issue. After some initial research, I quickly learned that singleton pups tend to be poorly adjusted and can often be ‘nippy’ and not well socialized. Not exactly what I had envisioned for our ‘family dog’ to say the least! Turns out pups need siblings to annoy, play and compete for food! Fortunately for our pup and our family, our wonderful breeder at Twenty Valley, LeeAnn, sprang to action and reached out to Rachel, whom she knew very recently had a litter of chocolate labs. Rachel so graciously agreed to foster our singleton pup so that he would have siblings to annoy him and make him a very well-adjusted pup. Rachel often posted pictures of our singleton, aptly nicknamed ‘Chunker’ so that we could see him grow and flourish. He was an adorable blonde amongst a sea of chocolate labs! Chunker knew no different and he was well socialiazed by his siblings and was able to have a mom too! Chunker lived with Rachel’s pups for 8 weeks, and then it was time for all of them to go to there forever homes. So we brought Chunker (now Ace) home, and he quickly became an irreplaceable part of our family. I truly, truly believe, that it is because of LeeAnn’s and Rachel’s kindness and efforts, not to mention their very apparent love of their dogs, that we have a warm, loving, and playful pup. I think of how much Rachel has impacted our lives and yet we never met. My children love their puppy, and I often think that things could have turned out very differently had it not been for her. THANK YOU!!
We’re grateful to Springwood Kennel for the wonderful care given to our little chocolate lab. We are so lucky to have Hershey as a part of our family!
We purchased our puppy from Springwood Kennel last year and brought him home in June. Right from the get go when we went to the kennel you could tell he was in great hands and their family was just outstanding to deal with through the process. Our puppy,Tucker, is fun loving and he is a great family dog. We have 8 and 11 year old kids and Tucker will play with them all day and night and never bite. He’s such a smart dog and when we are out walking with him we regularly get stopped and told how beautiful he is. We couldn’t ask for a better family dog and highly recommend Springwood Kennel.
Coco is clearly a great mom, as well as a great example of obedience. We get stopped often by strangers to tell us how handsome Jax is and we couldn’t agree more! He’s strong, agile, friendly and athletic. We are excited to have Jax as a part of our family and love him very much.
Rachel at Springwood Kennels far exceeded all of our expectations for a breeder, especially given that this was our first pup of our own.
Adding a family member is no small thing, and Rachel ensured that all families getting a little one were well aware of the puppies health during the first 8 weeks of their lives.
Echo joined our family in May of 2021 and has brought us endless joy since the moment we met her. She took to training quickly and is eager to please, constantly looking to us to ensure she has done what we’ve asked.
Her strong lineage is clear as we watch her train and we can clearly see her calmly thinking and understanding directions. Rachel’s approach to raising Echo amongst her family meant that her exposure to children translated well to our extended family members, as Echo is gentle yet still very engaged with young children. We are so happy to be a part of the Springwood family and are happy with the regular contact we’ve maintained with Rachel as we share updates. Rachel is always one friendly reply away for any Labrador questions.
We truly can’t imagine our lives without Echo, our smart little goofball and best friend. We think that everyone who has and will have a puppy from Rachel at Springwood Kennels is incredibly lucky.
Keeva has been one of the best things to happen to our family! Keeva is smart, loving, kind and beautiful. She is a joy to train and learns quickly, whether it be heel on a walk or place command in the house. We often get complements on a walk or at the park on her beautiful coat and temperament. It is evident to us and all who meet Keeva, that she comes from a healthy lineage. Thank you for choosing our family, we truly cannot imagine a day without her.
Dealing with you, Rachel and your family, was also a pleasure. You were honest and kept us updated throughout the adoption process. This is our families first k9 and you made sure we felt supported along the way.
We found ourselves in a difficult spot when our dog had a c-section and a singleton. She didn’t want to nurse her puppy and we were very concerned that the puppy would not make it. I called Rachel and she offered to see if her dog, Coco, would nurse the puppy. Sure enough, Coco took in the puppy and raised little Ace as one of her own! Rachel and her family loved Ace along with the rest of the litter and raised him to be a socialized, confident and sweet puppy! Rachel is a meticulous, ethical and conscientious breeder who always goes above and beyond. We’ve worked together throughout the years and it’s true that she only selects the best dogs to be part of her program. They are all thoroughly health tested and have excellent pedigrees. They are truly part of her family and home life. Every puppy raised by Rachel is given the best of care and we are forever grateful she extended this love and devotion to our little Ace! We purchased a puppy from Springwood Kennel in 2021. We had been looking for a labrador puppy to add to our family and were drawn to Springwood because not only are the puppies from an excellent pedigree and are CKC registered, they are also family raised. This felt like the best of both worlds! As a family with two children, we were so happy that the puppies were handled often and by kids too! We loved watching the puppies grow and change on Instagram and Rachel answered all of our questions throughout the process. We get lots of compliments on our dog Milo. He is very handsome and is a quick learner too. He is a very smart and healthy dog due to his excellent pedigree and the love and care he was given at Springwood Kennel.
My husband, kids and I unfortunately lost our fur best friend and beautiful black lab, Walker, in December of 2020. It was so difficult and such a loss for everyone. However, we knew almost immediately that we wanted another Labrador in our family. We searched, and searched, AND SEARCHED. Due to covid it was extremely hard to find any puppies. In March of 2021, I came across Springwood Labradors, and I’m sure that somehow, someway, Walker had played a part in being so fortunate in finding a breeder with a puppy available. We knew that we wanted a chocolate, or a yellow this time so it felt like a perfect fit. After doing some research, reading reviews and some convincing for my husband we decided to put the deposit down! It was such an organized, respectful, and comfortable relationship with Rachel – and Springwood Labradors from that moment on.
We received emails with updates on the puppies, we watched them grow up on Instagram and knew they were in such a loving and beautiful home. The whole process was incredible, and even better when my husband went to pick up our pup. He was amazed by the beautiful home, and landscape that the puppies get to enjoy for the first 8 weeks and the family that loves them so dearly, like their own. Finally, we welcomed home Buck. He was affectionate, energetic, and loving from the beginning. He has been a companion for both our kids from the beginning. He is only 5 months, and he’s already such a smart and eager guy with the biggest heart. We are beyond thankful to have found Springwood Labradors and could not recommend a better breeder! In just the 5 short months that we have had Buck, it is so easy to see the impact that the first 8 weeks had on the gentle and kind personality he has.
